Publication Policies

The International Journal of Trends in Intensive Care and Pediatric Nursing (IJTICPN) is committed to maintaining the highest standards of publication ethics and integrity. Our publication policies are designed to ensure that all submissions are handled with transparency, fairness, and rigor, in line with the ethical guidelines set by leading organizations in scholarly publishing.

1. Ethical Standards:

  • All research submitted to IJTICPN must adhere to ethical standards in research, including obtaining informed consent from human participants and ethical approval for studies involving animals.
  • Authors are expected to disclose any potential conflicts of interest that could influence the research findings or interpretation.
  • The journal follows the guidelines of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) for handling cases of research misconduct, including plagiarism, data fabrication, and falsification.

2. Peer Review Process:

  • IJTICPN employs a double-blind peer review process to ensure the impartiality and quality of published research.
  • Manuscripts are reviewed by experts in the relevant field who provide constructive feedback and recommendations.
  • The editorial board makes the final decision on manuscript acceptance based on reviewer reports and the journal’s standards of quality and relevance.

3. Plagiarism Policy:

  • The journal has a strict anti-plagiarism policy. All submissions are checked using plagiarism detection software.
  • Manuscripts found to contain plagiarized content will be rejected immediately, and the authors may be barred from submitting future work to the journal.

4. Data Transparency and Reproducibility:

  • Authors are encouraged to make their research data available for verification and replication by other researchers.
  • Any supplementary materials, including datasets, software, and protocols, should be provided at the time of submission or upon request.

5. Authorship and Contributorship:

  • All listed authors must have made significant contributions to the research and have approved the final manuscript.
  • Changes in authorship after submission must be justified and approved by all authors.
  • Guest authorship (adding an author who did not contribute) and ghost authorship (excluding an author who did contribute) are strictly prohibited.

6. Conflict of Interest Disclosure:

  • Authors, reviewers, and editors are required to disclose any financial or personal relationships that could influence the work or its review.
  • The journal will publish disclosures alongside the accepted manuscript if they are deemed relevant to the reader’s understanding of the work.

7. Retraction and Corrections:

  • The journal reserves the right to retract articles that are found to contain significant errors, data manipulation, or unethical research practices.
  • Corrections to published articles will be made transparently, and a correction notice will be published in the next available issue.

8. Open Access and Copyright:

  • IJTICPN is an open-access journal, meaning all published articles are freely available to readers worldwide without subscription fees.
  • Authors retain the copyright to their work but grant the journal the right to publish and distribute the article under a Creative Commons license.
