Publication Policies

Publication Policies

The Journal of Regulatory and Homecare Pharmacy (JRHP) is committed to maintaining the highest standards of integrity and transparency in the publication process. Our policies are designed to ensure the quality and ethical standards of published research, safeguard the interests of authors, reviewers, and readers, and promote the dissemination of accurate and trustworthy information.

1. Ethics in Publishing

  • Authorship: All authors listed on a manuscript should have significantly contributed to the research, writing, and approval of the final version. Authors must disclose any potential conflicts of interest.
  • Originality: Manuscripts submitted to JRHP must be original works that have not been published elsewhere and are not under consideration by another journal. Plagiarism, including self-plagiarism, is strictly prohibited.
  • Data Integrity: Authors are responsible for the accuracy of the data presented in their manuscripts. Data should be collected and reported following ethical research practices.
  • Human and Animal Rights: Research involving human participants or animals must comply with relevant ethical guidelines. A statement confirming the ethical approval of the study must be included in the manuscript.

2. Peer Review Process

  • Double-Blind Review: All submissions undergo a rigorous double-blind peer-review process to ensure unbiased and objective evaluation. Reviewers are selected based on their expertise in the relevant field.
  • Reviewer Responsibilities: Reviewers are expected to provide constructive and timely feedback on manuscripts, maintain confidentiality, and disclose any conflicts of interest.
  • Editorial Decision: The final decision on manuscript acceptance, revision, or rejection rests with the Editor-in-Chief, based on the reviewers’ recommendations and the overall quality of the submission.

3. Plagiarism Detection

JRHP uses advanced plagiarism detection software to screen all submitted manuscripts. Any manuscript found to contain significant plagiarism will be rejected immediately, and the authors may be subject to sanctions, including a ban from future submissions.

4. Open Access Policy

JRHP is an open-access journal, meaning that all articles are freely accessible to the public immediately upon publication. This ensures that research findings are widely disseminated and accessible to a global audience, promoting greater visibility and impact.

5. Copyright and Licensing

  • Copyright: Upon acceptance, authors will be required to sign a copyright transfer agreement, granting JRHP the exclusive rights to publish and distribute the manuscript.
  • Licensing: Articles published in JRHP are licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution License, which allows others to share and adapt the work, provided the original authors and source are credited.

6. Retractions and Corrections

  • Retractions: In cases of significant errors, ethical breaches, or fraud, JRHP reserves the right to retract published articles. Retractions will be clearly marked and explained in a subsequent issue of the journal.
  • Corrections: Minor errors that do not affect the overall findings of the research may be corrected through an erratum or corrigendum, which will be published in a later issue of the journal.

7. Appeals and Complaints

Authors who believe their manuscript was unfairly rejected may appeal the decision by contacting the editorial office. Appeals must be based on the manuscript’s scientific content, not on subjective reasons. All appeals will be carefully considered, and the final decision will be made by the Editor-in-Chief.
